Electric Book Works (EBW) is a publishing and consulting company in Cape Town, South Africa. The company was founded in April 2006 by Arthur Attwell, Christian Lau, Diane Awerbuck and Norman Hooper. Aside from its digital-publishing consulting work, the company's own projects include EBW Healthcare, a series of self-managed courses for nurses and doctors. EBW has also published two children's books under its Vuvu Books imprint and poetry and fiction in conjunction with the University of Cape Town's School of Creative Writing under the UCT Writers Series imprint.
